UNDERWATER TREADMILL HYDROTHERAPY
The Underwater treadmill is used to enable early return to function and improve muscle strength after limb, neck, or back surgery or injury and improve range of motion in compromised joints. It provides a reduced weight-bearing environment that increases functional use of a limb without marked weight loading resulting in discomfort to a postsurgical joint. The water's viscosity also provides increased proprioceptive and tactile stimulation. Underwater treadmill walking allows a correct but exaggerated gait pattern, which improves joint flexion helps with gait patterning and muscle memory.

SWIMMING POOL HYDROTHERAPY
The Swimming Pool is low-impact, non-concussive and non-weight bearing and aids in the recovery process by strengthening jointsand increasing circulation. Swimming is a fantastic rehabilitation tool for improving the range of motion and is specifically recommended over the underwater treadmill for front leg conditions. It is a great way for overweight dogs to burn calories and improve their metabolic rate without the risk of injury. Additional benefits include strengthening the heart and lungs, decreasing inflammation, and improving their mental wellbeing.

What our clients say
What our clients say
"My senior cat swims here weekly and his arthritis seems to be much reduced! He gets around so much better and he's more energetic! My cat is super chill so I can't say all cats will take, but don't be intimidated from trying just because you have a cat, it's been such an improvement for his life!"
